I am an avid reader of fashion magazines, gossip rags, and books, a raging television addict and movie lover, with a good idea (well, an idea at least) of how everything could be made better. The term "Lawrencing Around" refers to the act of engaging in any two- or more- of the above activities at the same time (reading material can vary, computer usage is also an accepted form of entertainment). This is my family's primary source of exercise. In this blog I will offer my opinions on various topics in the entertainment arena. I may even invite some other Lawrencing veterans tell you what they think from time to time (so far no one is interested, although they aren't short on opinions). These opinions may be based on personal experience or on misinformed assumptions made at the spur of the moment. I welcome comments that are helpful, constructive or clever. If you feel offended or outraged by any of the statements made herein - get your own blog. This is mine.
If you watched last night's episode of Bones, you really need to see The King of Kong. The story of a real life Donkey Kong rivalry, it is crazy, funny, sad and enfuriating all at once. You'll love it. The writers on Bones obviously did.
you know, it didn't because it was natural - guys like that would be super excited and it was just timely in terms of the movie coming out now etc. So I really didn't even notice so much as a tie in as just a pop culture reference. Which I think is the right way to do a product tie in. It never bothers me when people on tv drink a Coke, but when they drink out a generic prop "soda" can it bugs me. because that isn't realistic.

normally, I feel exactly the same way but because that guy playing the intern is in Avatar, it kinda crossed the line for me a little.
I didn't realize he was in the movie. That is a little weird
